We are a workshop and each item is made to order. Orders are filled as they come in. Normal lead time is from 3 to 7 working days.
This charge is to ensure that your order is shipped 1 to 2 full business days after payment has cleared. (contingent on inventory availability)

Choosing the Express Mail option does not affect production time, only shipping method.
Our standard shipping method is Priority Mail 2-3 days. (not guaranteed by USPS).
Usually choosing to rush your order will get it to you faster than Express Mail.
